We now know a little more about the arrival of Google in Rennes. Earlier this year, the US giant announced at the French competitiveness summit in Versailles that it would open digital workshops in four French cities. The first will open June 9 in Rennes. It will be located at 11, rue de la Monnaie, in the historic center of Rennes.
With its digital workshops, which will be free and open to all, Google intends to fight the digital divide by training individuals or professionals to use new digital tools. Like every time, the American giant sees things in large with its offer of training. It plans to train 100,000 people every year.
