Square format and round price, the new Fujifilm instant camera arrives in France.
Fujifilm expands its line of instant cameras to square format. The Instax Square SQ6 wants to seduce more customers with its stylish and retro look, and compete with Polaroid. And he has the good idea to be sold at a reasonable price.
Following the success of the first SQ10 model, the Japanese manufacturer launched its second Instax Square SQ6 camera with the same functions and the same CR2 lithium batteries (non-rechargeable ...). Lovers of snapshots can use it in self-portrait, macro or landscape mode, with self-timer, or double exposure. The little novelty? You can put color filters (purple, green, orange) on the flash to create a strobe atmosphere and play with light effects. The camera is equipped with the equivalent of a 35mm lens with fixed f / 11 aperture. A standard thread allows positioning the Instax Square SQ6 on a tripod.
With its new model, Fujifilm wants to attract more consumers by offering an even simpler model. It comes in three colors: white, black or copper. The Instax Square SQ6 is marketed at a price of 139 euros, an affordable level for this type of products. Note that Fujifilm is taking advantage of this release to launch new movies with black borders. All technical features are to be found on the official minisite Instax Square SQ6.
