A new report coming from German mobile news website WinFuture lets us have a look at what it would appear to be the entire ZenFone 4 series of smartphones that ASUS accidentally leaked earlier today on its own website.
Next week, on August 17, ASUS should officially unveil its new smartphone lineup of the ZenFone 4 series, but the editorial team from WinFuture was quick enough to catch the Taiwanese computer and phone hardware and electronics company experimenting with the website design on their French online store ahead of the public launch.
This accidental leak reveals the fact that ASUS is planning to unveil four new ZenFone 4 models, including ZenFone 4, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone Selfie Pro, and ZenFone 4 Max, apparently other than the ZenFone 4 Max that was released in Russia last month because of the different specs listed on the website.
ZenFone 4 family specs and prices
Priced at €499.99 (~$590 USD), the dual-sim ZenFone 4 features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 630 CPU, 4GB of RAM, a 3,300mAh battery, 64GB internal storage, dual cameras on the back (12MP and 8MP), an 8MP camera on the front, Dual-Band Gigabit WLAN, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC.
With a price tag of only €299.99 (~$355 USD), the ZenFone 4 Selfie model has a 5.5" IPS LCD display with a 1280x720 resolution, it's powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor, also comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, but a 3,000mAh battery. The device has a dual camera system on the front (20MP and 8MP), and a 16MP rear camera.
Customers will have to pay €100 extra if they want to buy the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro model, which apparently has some major improvements over the ZenFone 4 Selfie variant, including a more powerful Snapdragon 625 processor, a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution, and 24MP + 5MP dual cameras on the front.
The cheapest of them all is the ZenFone 4 Max, priced at €229.99 (~$270 USD), but the one leaked on ASUS' French online store features a 5.2-inch screen not a 5.5 one like the Russian model, and has a smaller 4,100mAh battery, not the bigger 5,000mAh one of the Russian variant. Other than that, the rest of the specs are the same.
