Sales for the revival of the 1982 hit musical grossed $1,083,009 (£834,676), ranking second of the composer's three productions currently staged on Broadway.
The show had mixed reviews when it first opened, after singer Leona Lewis was cast as Grizabella in a last-minute replacement for X Factor judge, Nicole Scherzinger, who pulled out just weeks before the premiere.
The School of Rock was ahead at sixth with $1,211,127 (£933,417), having premiered late last year, and Sir Webber's 28-year-running The Phantom of The Opera still made the cut, ranking No. 10 with sales of $961,265 (£740,848).
